Yun is the Lead Pastor at New Life. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois and went on to obtain his Master's of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical DivinitySchool in 2000. He currently resides in Palatine with his hot wife, Jean and two kids, Caleb (10) and Abigail (7). He has a passion for sports and loves the Fighting Illini and the White Sox! Yun's vision is to reach out to those that aren't connected to church community and, in turn, raise believers that are committed to changing the world!
Pastor Cedric Choi
Executive and Family Groups Pastor

Cedric is the Executive & Family Groups Pastor at New Life. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois. He worked five years in the marketplace before realizing his call to go into ministry. He obtained his Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2007. He is in the process of being ordained in the Presbyterian Church of America. He currently resides in Arlington Heights, IL with his lovely wife, Sunny and his two lovely children Olivia and Owen. In terms of personal interests, he loves following the Fighting Illini, Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls. He also enjoys eating all kinds of foods that the Chicagoland has to offer, especially Asian cuisine!
Pastor Min Kim
Worship Pastor

Min is the Worship Pastor at New Life. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2001 with bachelor's degree in Psychology. He received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in the fall of 2008. He has a passion for worship and desires to see God's people worship freely. Min currently resides in Palatine and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Helen, since 2004. Min and Helen have been blessed with their first child, Noah. Min enjoys watching and playing sports especially basketball and golf.
Pastor Seung Jae Lim
Teaching Pastor

Seung Jae has a special heart for the general education of the church serving as New Life's Teaching Pastor. He received a B.A. in philosophy at the University of Illinois ('03). Following his undergraduate degree, SJ received his MDiv. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School ('06). He resides in Wheeling with his wife Susie. They are avid Chicago/Illinois sports fans.
Jasmine Shim
Children's Ministry Intern

Jasmine is the Children's Ministry Intern at New Life. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in music. She also obtained her Masters in Elementary Education at Loyola University Chicago. She currently resides in Chicago, IL with her husband John. She has a heart for the children of New Life and is excited to see them grow.
